MAC ensures the implementation of Kingdom and national maritime legislation on its fleet and in its territorial waters, by hiring sufficiently qualified personnel and offering regular and on-going training and participation in international maritime fora, and by cooperating with other flag and port states in the region and in the operating areas of its fleet. IMO participation is ensured through the Kingdom.
